What Does the Trim Tab Do?

The trim tab is mounted on the anti-ventilation plate of your Suzuki outboard and helps counteract propeller torque, improving straight-line tracking and reducing steering effort at speed. A damaged or missing trim tab can cause the boat to pull to one side and increase driver fatigue.
