What Does This Kit Do?

The 75692T2 is a genuine Mercury Marine OEM thermostat kit for V6 2-stroke outboard engines. It is a critical cooling system component that regulates engine operating temperature to ensure peak fuel efficiency and performance. The thermostat prevents the engine from running too cold (which causes fuel “making oil” or carbon buildup) or overheating. This kit supplies a matched pair — one complete set for each cylinder bank of a V6 engine.

This kit does NOT fit: DFI (Direct Fuel Injection), OptiMax, or newer 4-stroke V6 platforms.
