What Does This Filter Do?

The engine-mounted low pressure fuel filter removes contaminants from the fuel supply before it reaches the fuel injection system. A blocked or degraded fuel filter can restrict fuel flow, causing hard starting, rough running, loss of power, or damage to fuel system components. Suzuki recommends inspecting the fuel filter at every service and replacing it approximately every 200 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first.
