The 61150-99E01 is a genuine Suzuki Marine water indicator tube cover — commonly known as the tell-tale cap or “pisser” cover. This part serves as the outer indicator cap that slides directly into the water indicator sleeve on the lower cowling of your motor. It directs the small visual stream of water outward so you can easily confirm that your outboard’s cooling system is circulating water correctly.

Compatibility

Fits a very broad range of Suzuki 4-stroke outboards from the DF25 up to the DF140, spanning production years from 2000 onwards. This includes specific DF25, DF30, DF40, DF50, DF60, DF70, DF90, DF100, DF115, and DF140 configurations.

If your tell-tale stream is leaking inside the engine cowling rather than spraying clearly outside, the cap might not be the only culprit. It is frequently paired with the inner sleeve, 61155-99E01 (Water Indicator Tube Sleeve), which the cap slides into. If the sleeve is cracked, replacing just the cap won’t fix the leak.
