What Does This Valve Do?
The water pressure valve regulates coolant flow within your Suzuki outboard's cooling system, maintaining correct water pressure to protect the engine from overheating. A faulty water pressure valve can cause cooling system inefficiency, overheating warnings, or engine damage.
Important — O-Ring Required
The O-ring is not included with this valve and must be ordered separately. You will need:
- O-Ring: 09280-26006
We recommend replacing the O-ring whenever the valve is replaced to ensure a proper seal.

This valve suits a wide range of Suzuki four-stroke outboard models from 25HP to 300HP:
- DF25 / DF30 — 2000 to 2014
- DF40 / DF50 — 1999 to 2022
- DF60 / DF70 — 1998 to 2024
- DF80 / DF90 / DF100 — 2009 to 2025
- DF200 / DF225 / DF250 — 2004 to 2024
- DF300 — 2007 to 2024
