What Does This Switch Do?
The tilt limit switch assembly controls the upper tilt limit of your Suzuki outboard's power trim and tilt system. It signals the trim/tilt motor to stop when the engine reaches its maximum tilt angle, preventing over-extension and potential damage to the tilt mechanism or transom bracket. A faulty tilt limit switch can cause the engine to tilt beyond its safe range or fail to tilt at all.
