Compatibility

The Suzuki 67200-93J70 remote control box is generally compatible with mechanical-shift outboard models manufactured from 2005 through to the current 2026 production year.

Because Suzuki shifted away from strict designated “model years” around 2012 in favour of manufacturing production dates, compatibility is determined by your engine’s shifting system and wiring connections.

Compatibility Breakdown

• 2005 to Current (2026): Direct plug-and-play fitment for all standard mechanical-shift (non-AP electronic drive-by-wire) engines.
• Pre-2005 Engines: It can physically control these older engines, but you will need an adapter harness (Part # 36620-93J20) to convert the wiring plug styles.
• Exclusions: It is not compatible with any Suzuki “AP” series precision-control outboards (such as the DF150AP, DF175AP, or DF300AP), which require electronic digital control boxes instead of mechanical cables.

Wiring Plug Style
