What Does This Part Do?

The 17913-93J00 is a genuine Suzuki Marine engine water flush plug for the newer A-series and B-series Suzuki 4-stroke outboards. This screw-in cap seals the dedicated freshwater flush port on your engine block, allowing you to connect a garden hose to flush salt, brackish, or mineral deposits from the internal cooling passages. After flushing, always refit this plug to maintain correct internal cooling system pressure.

Note: This is the newer A-series plug. If your outboard is a first-generation (non-A) model such as DF60, DF70, DF90, DF115, or DF140 (pre-2009), you will need the earlier plug 17913-99E12 instead.
