Suzuki OEM Sacrificial Anode Block – Part No. 55321-90J01

This genuine Suzuki OEM zinc alloy sacrificial anode — commonly called a gearcase block anode or “zinc” — is a critical component for protecting your outboard against galvanic corrosion. Mounted directly onto underwater surfaces (primarily the gearcase lower unit or swivel bracket), it actively corrodes over time so your outboard’s expensive aluminium castings don’t have to. Inspect and replace it regularly — a depleted anode is an engine at risk.
